Our Initiatives
To rapidly solve the toughest challenges facing healthcare today, MVI has been established to enable ongoing, bidirectional translation between civilian and military medicine across three strategic initiative
Research
Facilitating strategic collaborations between MGB, the US Department of Defense, and the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs to accelerate the development, validation, and scaling of research-driven innovations that address unmet areas of need across all aspects of military and civilian healthcare delivery.
Education
Provide novel education programs to navigate current and future needs of the DoD and VA workforce by leveraging our Graduate/Continuing Medical Education Programs, MGH Institute of Healthcare Professions, Comprehensive acute care and rehabilitation clinical sites to sustain ready military medical force.
